Re-Skilling of Former Inmates and Migrant Workers 

Together with partners in the Thailand Institute of Justice (TIJ), the coalition is working to uplift and empower of both former prisoners and migrant workers through a re-skilling and retraining program that aims to create better opportunities and access to safer jobs for members of this population.  

Conducting an interview with a dedicated Restart instructor who has been with the program since its inception. Now teaching kitchen planning, service systems, and stock management, he reflects on his continued commitment to TIJ’s mission and its emphasis on meaningful social impact.

Participating in a project meeting at TIJ to discuss potential architectural requirements for a new facility designed to house incarcerated individuals, with a focus on aligning infrastructure with principles of dignity, rehabilitation, and human rights.
